LO2 Scope the personal media profile for an identified purpose (P2)

My personal media profile will be for the job role of a photogrpaher and will demonstrate a range
of photogrpahic techniques and abilities to any would be employers/clients. I would also look to
demonstrate any graphic design work i have done as a part of kmy course as it would show a
greater skill set making me more useful to an employer.

Why i am doing a digital portfolio

I have choosen to make my portfolio digital as i am doing a portfolio for a photogrpaher and
it would require to much materials and money to make a physical portfolio and portfolio would
be very big if it was to use so much  paper to store hundereds of photos making it impractical
to send and store.

I have choosen to make this as it is an effective and clever way to show case my skills to
potential employers and clients.

Anoher reason i have choosen to make this in a digital portfolio is so that it is much more easy
to transfer and acsses for employers to look at.

 Digital

To repurpose my raw images i would need to convert them into a jpeg file format as it is
a hig quality lossy compressed file type and will alow me to upload lots of pictures to my
site. As a photogrpahy portfolio it is important to include my images as it will gove a
good indication to potentioal employers/clients of my ability and competency.

I repurposed my video file formats to be an mp4 file format so that it would be a high
quality compressed file format and wouldnt take up alot of storage on my site. I have
choosen to include y moving image work do demonstrate i have a working knowledge of
camera techniques and directing.

Physical  - ways you could make present the example for a physical portfolio

I could represrnt the my work on physical format by printing my photos on to glossy photo paper
and sticking it into an a3 sketch book to display my work to an employer or client and i could
burn any moving image work onto a disc which could be played by an employer.
